The Quantum 1000 filter provides absolute ½ micron (1/50,000 inch) filtration, removing 99.9% of all particles like dirt, lead, asbestos fibres, harmful cysts such as Giardia lamblia and Cryptosporidium as well as chlorine, and other offensive tastes and odors.

The Quantum Drinking Water System comes complete with everything needed to do the installation, except the faucet.
Cartridge replacement should be done once a year.
