The Water Machine uses a multi barrier approach that consists of
five (5) unique water treatment processes to ensure the safest and
best tasting drinking water available.
The Sterilight Water Machine™ now comes in two different models.
The SWM2A and SWM2B versions feature two full sumps (countertop
and under-counter) while the SWM3A and SWM3B feature three full
sumps (countertop and under-counter with separate prefilter). These
systems use the most advanced water treatment technology available
today, and you can have it right in your home. With the Sterilight
solution, you can have an unlimited supply of pure, great tasting
water so vital for you and your family's health.
The Sterilight Water Machine™ uses the same purification processes
found in nature:
OZONE, mixes with incoming tap water to destroy contaminants
and improve taste leaving no chemical residual.
UV, is uses to flood the ozone saturated water with high
intensity UV energy, destroying microorganisms including bacteria,
virus and protozoan cysts.
PHOTO OXIDATION, occurs when UV and ozone work together
to destroy contaminants and microbes.
ACTIVATED CARBON, is used after ozone, UV and photo oxidation
to filter out chlorine, lead, and tiny particulate matter including
protozoan cysts. This one micron filter also converts residual
ozone back to oxygen.
POST UV, is used at the final point to ensure that only
clean, pure water leaves the machine
